The following are the core values we use in operating the company and the standards we expect from all of us.
1. Without our community we cannot exist, therefore, anything we do for our community comes back many times over, even if it cannot be quantified.
2. Empower and trust people until they give you a reason not to. Never look for some place to cast blame. It is a waste of time and non-productive.
3. We want DCI to produce income for all our families for many years to come because it is a good place to work. We want everyone to live comfortably but this is not possible unless the company is consistently profitable. Being profitable is simply a by-product of working together as a team.
4. We need to take our business seriously. We do not want to take ourselves too seriously, though.
5. No one at DCI is more important, better, smarter or more gifted than someone else. We all bring something different to the table. That earns every individual a high degree of respect from the entire group.
6. At DCI there are no subordinates and no superiors. Regardless of the task, it can always be assigned to anyone.
7. Gender, race, and religion mean nothing to us other than to show respect for.
8. It is good to be nice to people for the sake of being nice. Good customer service is simply a result of this.
9. No one likes to work with, for, or be around an ass. Don’t be one.
