| Phil Isenhour started Damage Control over 16 years ago with his wife, Ellen, and daughter, Eva. First year sales were under $250,000 and have since grown to volumes of over $12 million per year. With 35 employees and 120 pre-qualified subcontractors, Phil oversees more than 300 projects each year. |
| Paul Winter
Newly appointed President of Damage-Control, Paul has taken on an increasing amount of responsiblity of the day to day operations and implementing long term growth strategies of the business. Under his stewardship DCI posted one of the best years in 2011, and we look forward to his leadership into the future. |
| Eva Winter has been actively involved in the company since it's inception and manages and oversees operations. Under her tutelage, the company holds various awards; three-time Future 50 winner, two successive years on Inc. Magazine's Fastest Growing Companies in America, Entrepreneur Magazine's Top 100 Small Businesses in America and other honors from various professional and trade organizations. |
| Ellen Zipf
Ellen is co-founder of DCI and consults on the daily business operations. She is a student at Alverno College pursuing a degree in education. She also provides support to our customer service department. |
| Sarah Smith first worked for Damage Control as a cleaning technician in 2000. After earning her BA from Alverno College in 2007, she joined our management staff to administer our human resources and training programs. Her creativity assures that everyone in Damage Control works, trains, and communicates together, no matter what their job title. Sarah makes sure that teamwork is the daily norm, and not just a trite term. |
| Christine Klim
Christine has been handling the bookkeeping for Damage Control as both employee and consultant since 1995. She is a graduate of MATC and spent over 20 years in the accounting field at WEPCo before starting with Damage Control. In addition to holding an AS in accounting, Christine is a certified massage therapist specializing in Thai massage and instructing yoga. |
| John Ortenblad is DCI's Business Development Manager. He has specialized in insurance restoration work for the past 22 years, though he has been in construction all of his adult life. Having been in upper management on the construction side, and a Senior Property Adjuster on the insurance side, there is no one more qualified to help lead and further develop the Midwest's premier restoration staff at Damage Control Inc. |
| Jessie Lynch
Jessie joined our team in 2007 and quickly earned the respect of his peers with his attention to detail and "can do" attitude. IICRC certified in both water damage and smoke and fire damage, Jessie is equipped with the knowledge to handle any loss. Although his expertise in restoration is extensive, it is Jessie's outstanding customer service with both adjusters and homeowners that earned him his place as DCI's newest estimator. |
| Derek Opgenorth- Project Manager
Derek Opgenorth holds a bachelors of Business Administration degree from UW-Milwaukee. Over the past 20 years, he has supervised and managed the construction and development of multi-million dollar commercial projects throughout the Midwest. His experience with designers, engineers, and architects make him our “go to guy” on large projects. |
| Dave Rhode-Marketing Manager
Dave joins us with over 14 years of restoration estimating experience as a marketing Manager. Previously Dave was self-employed through Industrial Coatings doing painting sales and marketing. He also was a food and restaurant manager, and spend three years in the Army. In his spare time he likes to hunt, fish, golf, and attend sporting events. Dave is married to Diane, has eight grand children, and resides in Milwaukee. |
| Lynn Bagniewski
Lynn joins us part-time while pursuing her BA in marketing at Alverno College. She has over 15 years experience in sales and marketing involving advertising, finance, and flooring estimate and design. She also served as the Director of Business Development for a large real estate company specializing in real estate management. In her spare time she enjoys attending sporting events, clothing design, painting, and spending time with her daughter Kelsey. |
| Jon Rockafellow Production Manager
Jon has been with DCI for since 2009 bringing with him experience of installing carpeting and tile, finish carpentry, and general home remodeling. Recently Jon has taken on the role of overseeing the entire production department and will assist and guide our estimators, project managers, and production staff. We hope to see Jon continue to excel with his addtional resposiblities. |
| Mike Mitchell Project Manager
Mike brings extensive experience in emergency fire response to DCI through his time spent as a volunteer fire fighter and EMT. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Mike also has attained his water restoration technician license. He has the perfect background to help supervise and train new production employees as one of our project managers. |
